At the first look flirt4free.com seems to be a pretty casual cam site. Rows of camgirls’ room previews, a small menu on the top and a logo that would have fit some racing car or competition much better. Everything’s just as usual. I just want to say that I hate it when camsites use word ‘free’ in their name. No camsite is 100% free. It just can’t be free, because neither girls nor developers who support the site will work for free. So why confuse your customers? Fine, not much people can be confused with that f word nowadays, but still it looks hypocritical.
There’s a huge banner advertising Flirt Of The Year Awards — some kind of contest for models. It doesn’t say what the prizes are, but there are loads of special categories and customers may vote for their favorite model if she takes part in the contest. Free voting is available once in every 13 hours, paid voting costs 50 credits and available as long as you have enough of them on your account.
Flirt4Free — Interface and Usability
I don’t like it when cam site uses models’ avatars as previews of their rooms. Girls set photos that don’t describe what the shows are like in their chat rooms. Still, you can stop your mouse cursor on any preview and the model’s cam room thumbnail and her avatar will disappear immediately, being replaced by the video stream from her room. This feature is pretty nice, but still it would be better if they put the usual screen capture instead of avatars.
On the top right, under the registration button there’s a quite standard menu. You can choose to watch live cams or pre-recorded paid shows (those aren’t free, but extremely kinky as far as I could understand), browse categories or watch what models are the most popular at this time.
Live Cam Room Interface
It’s impressive. That video stream window is huge, though you can’t unfold it to the full screen size. Chat window on the left is narrow, but who sends long messages there? There are also a couple of buttons allowing you to tip the model you’re watching or take her private. You can add funds to your account, add the model you’re watching to favs or vote for her in a contest by clicking tiny buttons in a small menu to the left from the chat window.
Registration and Payment
Registration is quite simple: type your nickname, password and e-mail, confirm it in your inbox and you’re signed up. Free membership gives you a privilege to vote for models and your nickname will be displayed instead of the random set of numbers you get as a non-registered member.
Don’t be fooled by that promise of 120 free credits. To get them you still need to enter your credit card number which looks like scam to me. Ask yourself a question: why would anyone want your credit card number if they didn’t want your money?
The site’s currency is credits. You can get 120 credits only for verifying your credit card, 240 credits will cost you $10 and you’ll get 150 extra credits, the purchase of 415 credits will take $25 from your card, but you’ll get another 190 credits for free. Also there’s a recurring VIP membership for $39.95 per month plus 120 credits for free. Payment options, you ask? Flirt4free laughs in your face, as you can pay only with your credit card. No exceptions.
Overall
A nice cam site with the only payment option and a bunch of beautiful girls who don’t go naked in free chats. I tried to find a girl who would flash her boobies in a free chat, but no one was willing. Though I guess those hotties are ready to show off in private just like any other cam girls are, so if you’re in search of your perfect cam model, you might want to stop by and have a look.
